"Lotta Love"の歌詞の中の”see eye to eye"は、同意する、意見を共有するということだろう。"change the way things are""To get us through the night""To make things work out right"など、英語のヤマトコトバも使われている。
"American and British Slang Dictionary" は親友だ。
"hang on to something" は、"hold on to something"とほぼ同意で、しがみつく、しっかりとつかむといったニュアンスか。

今回ニコレッタを聴いて、"get it on""be gone""hold on""hold on to"などの感じはつかめた。
"Dancin' Jones" "Just in the Nick Of Time" "Back in My Arms"など所収。
なんとかついていける。以前は"Dancin' Jones"などは速く感じたけれど、今はそれほど速く感じない。ただスラングは簡単ではない。
