銀座・イエナ書店で、"Christgau's Guide Rock Albums of the 70s"(1982)を購入した。
初版は、イギリス。
ロックのアルバムを購入する際に参考にしているロバート・クリストガウ(Robert Christgau)氏の「70年代のロックアルバムガイド」。
自分も自分なりにこれまで聞いてきたもので自分なりの評価もあるのだが、アメリカ人のひとりの批評家の評価と比べられるため、たいへん参考になる。それがクリストガウ氏となれば、なおさらだ。その評価が一致していれば、それなりに安心と納得をえることができるし、差異があれば、それは何故なのか、再評価のきっかけにもなる。
クリストガウ氏の評価グレードは、A＋、Ａ、Ａ－からＥまで。
