David Byrne の傑作コンサート映画 "American Utopia"(2020年)。
そのSoundtrackからの一曲"Blind"は、アルバム"Naked"(1988年)からとられた一曲。
少しふざけて言えばリズムはズンドコ節のような雰囲気も少しあるが、ギターをカッティングしながら歌うDavid Byrneがカッコよくきまっている。
影絵を使う演出は、ジョナサン・デミ監督の"Stop Making Sense"の演出を想い出す。
ミュージシャンたちが遊園地の海賊船のように左右に揺れ動く演出もおもしろい。タマという楽器だと思うが、トーキングドラムのソロも盛り上げる。
カナダ人の女性パーカッショニストの顔の表情も印象的だ。
