David Byrne のコンサート映画 "American Utopia"(2020年)。
そのSoundtrackからの一曲"Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On)"は、Talking Heads の アルバム"Remain in Light"(1980年)からアルバムオープニングの一曲。
特徴的な冒頭のベースラインがアルバムのファンク調を奏でる。"I Zimbra"(「イ・ジンブラ」)のようにアフリカのリズムの影響がみられる。ベースライン・シンセサイザー・エレキギターの神経症的なサウンドが特徴的。
題名の"Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On)"は、「引っ叩かれる運命に生まれて（熱気は続く）」といったところか。
歌詞にうたわれる主人公は、 ”I'm a tumbler."（「俺は曲芸師」）というが、正直"tumbler"がよくわからない。
